Time with you like water flowing
      so fleeting and soon past
Times apart seem all too frequent
      the good times never last
  When is now the time?
  who has time enough for love?
 
We've years to live; our lives we plan
      we rise to greet each dawn
You set your feet upon a path
      and turn to find it gone
  Who can know the future?
  who would want to?
 
Life is sad or life is merry
      life is full of change
Though sadness touch the lives of all
      the happy find it strange
  Why do things seem the same 
  when everything is ending?
 
The winds of change; I hear them stir
      they blow across my life
For good or bad they tear my heart
      with loneliness and strife
  Pray you to God Almighty
  for grace from Heav'n above 
  that He may kindly grant you 
  Time enough for love.
